For Teachers
Welcome to Britian4KiwiKids!
As you know, students - even Primary and Intermediate school students - use the World Wide Web to do their homework and research for school projects.
This site can help kids learn more about all things British.
For instance, we have sections devoted to British History and Geography, English, Sports in Britain and life in the U.K.
How is life different for kids in Britain? These and other questions can be answered by using the Britain4KiwiKids site.
Also, if kids are looking for photos, we have a Picture Gallery. There are pictures from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland as well as images of London, the Royal Family and castles.
The main britain.org.nz site and our FAQs are also very helpful resources for answering questions about British life, culture, business, science and technology and government.
You might also wish to know about the British Council, which actively promotes British education and training through its office in Wellington, and on its website. The British Council supports the work of teachers through a number of innovative programmes. You might want to visit them online.
Lastly, we'll be improving and regularly adding content to this site in the coming months. We'd certainly welcome your input.
